Buy yourself a box from Manazel, and load it up with FACOM tools.

Substitute the screw drivers, pliers and allen key sets, cutters, ball pien hammer, soft mallet, hard mallet, pokers, parallel punches, sir clip pliers. All this you can get from Manazel.

Get FACOM sockets, deep and short, in both 3/8" drive and 1/4" drive, ratchets, ring ratchets, extensions of all sizes, universal joints. I always buy 12 point but its up to you.

Spanners you can get from Unior. Really excellent quality! BETA, even better. FACOM if you can afford it (its right on par with Snap-On, even pricing is same).

You will be shocked how expensive it will cost you at the end, but these are tools for life.

However, you can buy Proto from KSA, its owned by Snap-on and its just a step below it in quality, but priced really well. If I were you, I would drive to the Proto dealer and load up a toolbox from there and bring it back. End up saving over 250BD easily.

One of my bosses has just acquired the dealership for Toptul tools, they are pretty tough tools too. Just go to MAC Customs in Salmabad and you can check them out there. He's got everything you need, or you can call him on 36319191 his name is Mahmood.

He's also got those big drawer tool cabinets if you're interested.

here's their website http://www.toptul.com/

Dont buy any Facom in Bahrain, they'll bend you over and not even ask you before ramming it up...

Even with shipping look at online stores and use Aramex, UK/Us have way better prices

problem is tools are very heavy

@ 7bd /kg

a simple socket set will cost easily 50-60bd in shipping alone..

unless u want to get Maclaren's Titanium tool set :p

Geant has very basic stuff but also some decent boxes.

Depends what you need it for...

A simple Facom socket set is 140 dinars versus maybe 30-40 outside, i think even at 7 kg and another 50 bd, it's a saving...

Add up and you'll be saving upwards of 3-400 depending on the stuff you buy
