So, Spec Mi gets some CF :)

First batch of the CF just arrived with the Spec-V Dunlop tires. The Mines dry cf grill is the only one designed differently, the rest are all round shaped and dont have sharp edges. The Canard's are from Auto Select and they are the smallest in the market.

The Rest of the CF from Mines, PWJDM and Technocraft will arrive in couple of months. All functional Dry CF and not that over layed cheap stuff. Very happy with the look so far.

The Spec-V tires are amazing and very sticky, I didn't expect them to be this good.

Props to you SMS for the last minute install, great work as usual.

Still waiting for the bumper and fenders. Will also do a square setup when the parts arrive. Gonna get 2 rear Volk G2 wheels ( like the ones i have ) for the front wrapped with 315's.

A little update....

Cars been sitting for ages now, everything is ready except the custom couplers/reducers. Faced an issue with the AMS IC and the Synapse IC Pipes, the coupler that comes with the AMS IC only fits the stock pipings. Hopefully the couplers and the Boost Logic Oil Cooler arrive on Saturday, the weather is great and i miss driving the car!

Handling

Toyo R888's - 285/35/20 Fronts - 315/30/20 Rears. She's lowered with Cobb Sleeves for now until the JRZ Silent Coilovers are ordered.

The fronts look like they'll rub a bit, will go extra negative on the cambers and lower it a little tiny bit more ( rear ).

Sway bars are installed as well, softest upfront and hardest setting for the rear...Hello oversteer! ( No installed pics )

Thanks, i know all kinds of CF process. I'm expecting a CF start up kit to practice with, should be interesting!

The diffusers are not scraping at all on speed bumps, even the ones in City Center. Wing is there in the US. All the big CF stuff i bought are in the US until i finish ordering other stuff that will cost a lot to ship individually.

Just received from Hong Kong. Designed by TRacing and built at the same factory that makes the GT1 GTR body parts for perfect fitment and no gaps. This is aged impregnated Dry Carbon Fiber, custom clear coated to give it a wet look, very functional and it only weighs 4.7KG's!

Im gonna install it as is for a while then repaint it white including all vents.

Install was very easy, very straight forward and the fitment and gaps are exactly like stock. Thanks for the help Bashar :cheers:

So, i have mixed feelings...

1. I love the panda look but this style is fading out, it looks great and has that ''im coming to get you'' look but it is not ''clean''.
2. I want to paint it all, including the vents but i might regret it and wont be able to bring the CF look back.
3. Wrap the car in matte white ( keep the cf touches and the under lip/sides/rear/grill exposed ) and have a single CF stripe on the drivers side like the Mines bonnet.

What do you guys think?
