I was leaving the National Sprint when i saw what was left of the motorcycle accident that happened on the main road outside the BIC. Now i received an email saying that the riders, Rabia, father is looking for donations to send his son out of Bahrain for treatment cuz the BDF doctors want to amputate his other leg.

I know what his dad feels like because my dad pretty much went through the same thing when i had my accident, only not so extreme. Here is the email and i'll post up the medical reports as soon as i can get them uploaded...

Today & Tomorrow we’ll collect Cash donation for the biker “Rabea” who hade bike accident few days ago to help him to travel for better treatment.

The donate box with Salah Habib (Club Committee) in Harley from 5pm to 8pm.

On a side note.. I wonder if the accident happend elsewhere.. they might of been able to re-attach the leg..let alone cut off the other one

My personal opinion is that if we only trusted our doctors, thsi wouldn't be necessary every time.

A clear message needs to go out to the higher authorities in this country regarding this issue! More and more sick people are gathering donations for treatment outside Bahrain.. WHY?

We are in 2010, our medical system should be able to treat for all cases! What's going on Bahrain?

Ok here goes, I will be at the National Sprint this Friday. Anybody who wants to make a donation please call or send me an SMS on 36186699. Please guys show your compassionate side god forbid this happens to anybody ever again but put yourself in his shoes. Please please please guys lets do this for Rabia even if we dont know him. Any donation will do and i will make sure that his dad knows that members of this forum have made a donation. Even if you cant make it to the BIC i will come and get the donation from you no matter where you are...

If you do make a donation then please give me your name and number so that i can give a list to his dad so that he can call you if he wants and thank you. I know that he will eternally grateful.
