and we're paying 1bd /liter for petrol

sadly you are mistaken my friend.
Its not the dealer in India that dictates such a high price there. Its the import taxes of 100% and 200% that jack the car price up.
So even if he ships it from Bahrain, he will have to pay import duties to clear the car
