Rules and Regulations of this Forum

I have encountered situations where members of this forum seem to be receiving warnings regarding there avatars / sign although the member has NOT broken any of the forum rules and regulations:

Forum Rules:

3. Threats, Racism, or Sexism
Threads or replies promoting or expressing intolerant views towards minorities (race, religion, sexual preference, etc.) will not be tolerated.

4. Porn
Porn is not welcome here. Pictures showing nudity may be allowed in our off-topic section if an appropriate "Not Work Friendly" warning is posted in the subject line, and the picture is at worst, "R-rated." "X-rated" pictures, sites, or links are and will remain strictly against the rules.

(Definition of R-Rated:

Restricted-Under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian (age varies in some locations). This signifies that the rating board has concluded that the pictures rated contain some adult material. An R may be assigned due to, among other things, use of language, violence, sex or its portrayal of drug use.)



* If the forum rule and regulation enforcers do not go by the documented policy then please would you justly there needs?




I would think all the members of this forum would like to clarify several points and the above mentioned points are some:

Did you say "Recieving warnings" ? Maybe advice or suggestions, but certainly not warnings. I would rather you use appropriate terminology when making your point.

That is correct, however, there have been instances where moderators have turned a blind eye to this for the sake of maintaining a humourous atmosphere when all posters involved are enjoying the debate. You need to keep that in mind for the time being before you take everything else for granted.


4. Porn

and since the same rules cannot be applied to avatars and signatures due to the fact that NO subject line is available for either, then these rules do not apply consequently! In this event, you will need to refer to the following clause:

Please realize that the nature of the offense will determine the action to be taken. If the violation is extreme enough, or has been repeated enough times in the past, a member can have his/her ID locked without a warning.

Threads or replies that do not comply with our guidelines may be locked, edited, or deleted, depending on the nature of the offense. We will make every effort to state why such action was taken via private message, e-mail, and/or moderator reply in the offending thread. For this reason, we ask that you check your private messages often. You can find out whether or not you have received any private messages by logging into your user CP. You can set your options so that the board notifies you when you have received a private message, if you so desire

We are not at all at liberty to comment or/and respond to this question as you have clearly already broken the rules. You are required to refer to the following clause to understand why:

13. Attacking Forum Moderators
Posting a thread or reply to question or criticize moderator or administrator actions is not appropriate in a public forum. Please utilize the board's Private Message function, or e-mail, if you wish to discuss these issues. As long as you bring up your concerns maturely and civilly to the moderator or administrator in question, we will do our best to address your concerns fairly and promptly.


I would think all the members of this forum would like to clarify several points and the above mentioned points are some:

Making assumptions on behalf of others is not at all justifiable to raise concerns. However, we will look into any matter that we beleive requires EXTRA attention to be addressed in a mature manner.

the one u will never find any other forum that gives this much freedom to the memebers like gulfgt .. that freedom caused the forum to go through some difficult ltimes but it was all for thje sake of it's members .. i think ur 4getting the good points about this forum dude & concentrating on a worthless matter like an avator or a signature :confused:

well lets see i think i would now a warning when i see one thank you....


if mods tend to ignore things cause they feel like it then that my friend is considered to be breaking of rules or lets say another excuse for not applying the rules and regulations of this forum to all………




This inquiry was not addressed to any particular person it was just for clarification purposes…….


If no subject line is available for a matter I think that we should enhance the rules and regulations of this forum by adding that extra point and releasing a new version of the rules…………..

well well,

The one Cool it buddy... no need for all this....

we are trying to keep things as they should be but in a way that we don't bother our members in this forum, we all know each other very well and we all are like brothers and sisters.

so the thing is we Moderators do receive complaints from other members about certain stuff and we from our side try to cover up and make this forum as good as possible, so we can gain better reputation and better forum...

the point of this forum is:

1- bring all people get together and love each other " just like now "
2- To have as many as needful and useful information as possible which is more related to cars and engines etc etc.
3- general gossip section is one way of relaxing I must say, it's when you post some funny stuff and talk about " almost anything "

just try to put your self in this position, a position that you " The One " are the Admin of a forum, then you will reliaze how important to maintain diciplin in this forum and try to make it grow in a right way, all of us must walk together in the right path.

cheer up man, you know that we all love you, and I would be happy to see you relaxed and feeling comfy around with us... know that you are one of the best guys we all knew, smart funny charecter and informative, just the right guy in the right place :up2:
