I think my external hard drive is fried! :crying:


plz refer me to any shop that might be able to repair or recover data! :crying: 80GB of work is gone! :werd:

download "Recover My Files" along with a crack and inshalla you'll recover alot of files..

how do u know it's fried?

is it making weird clicking noises? or is it just failing to mount?

if ur lucky.. it could be the logic board of the enclosure that's shot.. and the drive itself could be ok..

just by taking the drive out and sticking it into a PC or another enclosure can be enough to recover ur data

please share brand and model of your drive.

I agree with otto here most probably the HDD is fine its the support thats gone.

I had a problem with my home PC few days back, I took it to a shop and they said the hard drive is dead needs to be changed, everything looked empty at it .. they got the files in the E: and D: drive, C: drive was vanished

Download getdataback with the crack and if ur disk is fine with no clickin sound then ur fine if not then hardluck
