Dear Members,

Ramadan Mubarak to you and your family.

CRC will be holding the annual Ramadan Autocross on the 20th August 2010 at Bahrain International Circuit in parking lot 6.

The event schedule is as follows:


09:30 pm Registration Starts. You must have a valid BMF license. You may also apply for a BMF "D license" at the event for FREE
10:00 pm Registration Ends.
10:10 pm Drivers briefing. All drivers must attend
10:15 pm 2 laps of the Practice behind the Pace Car
10:40 pm Autocross starts
01:00 am Autocross ends


Useful Info

Participation fee BD10

Helmets are a must
*
Shoes are a must. Slippers, boots or sandals will not be allowed
*
Vehicles must meet minimum safety requirements:
o
Must have functional Seat belts
o
Tires to be in good condition
o
No loose items in car
*
Best of all timed runs will be taken. This excludes practice runs.

Prizes (for each of the 5 categories)

1st place - BD50

2nd place - BD30
*
3rd place - BD10

won second place in the event with a 42.8 in the turbo 4cyl class :) i was happy with that seeing that it was my first time out. im probably going to be going back next week.

OBBI you did good bro!! I kept hitting the bloody cones!!! I thought the fact that our Westfield was right hand drive would have given me a bit of an advantage, then i realized that 90% of the turns were left turns!! Next week i'll probably bring the other one down, i had a blast though. I took my buddies out for dinner with the prize money!

Well done to Mazin, Musti and the rest of the CRC guys for an event well organised...Good job guys!

hahahah thx adool i loved that hydraulic ebrake action slides commin from the westfeild :) and mashallah u did great too :) i actually was suprised when i ran the 42 i reallly didnt think my car had it in her lol. but the track was veeeery tight and technical lots of understeer around some parts of the track i ate some cones as well lol. i hope next week they setup long sweeping corners into tight hairpins that should be something fun to watch lol.

I know bro!! The corners were to tight!! And i wasnt pulling any handbrakes, that was the car going insane on me!! I couldnt stop laughing when Eyad pulled the cone out from under my car.....that was too funny. I need to stick some lights on the thing, i couldnt see much, i'll probably retro fit some chep knock off stuff for next week...village style!
