Guys if someone wanted to make a V8 turbo what parts EXACLTY he needs? forged dish pistons, forged connecting rods,ARP bolts, race oil pump, electric fuel pump, braided hoses, fittings, fuel pressure regulator these im aware of but what more it needs? BOV, wastegate, turbocharge, intercooler, custom headers (which material should be used?) boost controler whats missing? I heard a V8 needs a large compressor;how large it needs? will thailand ball bearing will work fine? how much hp they can handle? a friend of mine in Canada is thinking about this project for his car so I need help in this one

the main concern is the piping work... lots of fabrication needed, every thing else you can get it of the shelf

piping work will be done at Khunaizy garage Inshallah

why piping mashakil? the oil feed line and return line is easy the gen 1 chevy block has two 1/8" outlets for sensor or something else and which water return lines? you mean the ones for radiator? it can be done easy and which wideband read accurate? there is no ECU it will be carburetor and I read about modifying a carb to handle turbo what else? who has best parts on shelfs?

how much hp they can handle depends on the size of the turbo

do u want to use 2 smaller twins, or one big single turbo?

thai turbos are hit and miss.. some last a long time, some start blowing oil in a month or 2

Thug Life

will be using one big single

for a street car?

yes

ED

yes

2 small turbos would be much better and easier to fabricate, but thats just me.

whats the car? i dont think turbo is the ideal choice khaood. Anyways... your parts are right.. ditch the electric water pump... khunaizi does good welding and fabrication.. he'll sort you out.

ed there is no much room in the C4 so a single good size turbo is enough its done before

BB its a corvette c4 and yeah electric water pump and aluminum radiator is a must

kleemann sorry for the misleading the owner of the car is in Canada and the car is with me yalla turbocharge your M la

khalood, look at the F/I section in ls1tech, there is a ton of good information there about this as I am sure its been done hundreds of times before.

why I say twins are easier, is you can start with medium length headers to minimize the fabrication in Bahrain as we don't have good pipe benders here, but again, the choice is yours.

good luck.

I saw that section before its all for forced induction LSx's I found a forum for gen 1 turbo and I know what it needs to run blow throu carb it can be done but I need to know the price's and stuff for turbo stuff here because on that forum they buy turbo's go for like 2500$ !! thats why I asked about the copy 1 turbo's

go with china stuff.. if the impeller holds and the blower is made of good cast, you're good to go..
