I know Switzer and AMS are authorized ProEFI dealers and have been doing some awesome things with the R35!! And rumor on the streets is that it can also control the transmission without the Cobb.
It isn't a reflash of the ecu which is what the Cobb does. It is going to have its own controlling unit. The question is, is it going to fully replace the ECU or is it going to be like the Haltech where it intercepts the signal before the factory ecu and leave certain inputs going directly to the stock ECU.....I know on the Z and G the ProEFI handles most of the duties, but they leave the stock ECU to handle things like climate control, the gauge cluster, etc
I guess keep these two pages refreshed for more info.
