to be honest with ya guys I'd rather have these PCs in my car than an average stereo cause u can have immense multimedia capabilities more than a clean ICE such as Gigabytes of MP3s, DivX movies, DVDs, GPS, and also ECU info as well

I've tried Linux, it was a really tough job to do. but some critics will say it will bring out the fun in computers (geeks) besides its like those hacker movies. Other than that its considered one of the most dangerous and powerful OSes for enterprising and tech junkies (makes windows look like a Datsun 180B)

:pat:

here let me make it simple for you

Linux was created by Linus Torvalds. Linus wanted a operating system that would do everything he needed for college. He didn't want to buy Unix because the price was too high, and it wasn't exactly stable, so Linus thought, why not make a operating system that meets my needs? So, he began work on it. Linux was begun in 1992 and the first version (1.0) was released to the public in 1994. Since then, many people have developed programs for linux and have chosen it as their primary computer system, mainly because linux is more stable, cheaper (free), and meets the needs of most if not all computer users. Linux is complicated to learn, mainly because when you turn on a linux system, you get this:
Linux 2.0.31 running on an i586
login:
Not many people know what to do with a login prompt. There are many books on linux and how to install it, use it, upgrade it, design programs in it, and much much more. Out of the box, Linux is a mail server, web server, ftp server, telnet server, total multitasking environment, more stable than concrete, and most of all, free.
