So the BIC met with the islands drag racers and tuners a few nights ago. What happened? What was discussed?

Are the islands tuners and draggers going to stop whining and moaning and getting their acts together and setup a commitee or not?

it will be ready soon (a month more ore less)..

an F.I.A inspector is coming to bahrain the evning to inspect and approve the drag strip...

1. The attendance was a disgrace!
2. Safety regulations was the main point of discussion.
3. The questions asked my our racers were pathetic!
4. The BIC dont want to handle this independently
5. I think theres no time before the summer to host an event!

Dude, BIC didn't hold t meeting. BMF did n it's 2 form a proper club to b run by an elected committee (by t drivers n members of tt club). T club then puts down n organizes their meets and events. Rules, regulations and events will b sanctioned by t BMF. Join n have a say in what u want 2 c rather than kick back n have things happen not 2 ur liking

T same has been done with other motorsports (Sprint, Rally, Motorcycles & Karts)

I'd say,

people just did want others to be there for the sake of them to take the credit....

they shouldn't have been collective to those whom should go...

if there was a huge attendence in that meeting it would have reflected a better image to how many people are really intrested in Drag racing and all....

it is not nessecerly old people or even those who have experinced it before, young people who have great intrest could be more creative and more active than others if you know what I mean...

well, all I can say is that I hope things get sorted out in a proper way next time..

otherwise forget it about and start racing in the highways....

before there was always the trouble of the track being available or not, and organising a race event in the runway was not as easy it seems, there were no stands, no proper fencing, etc..now it should be a lot easier..
