We've completed the car today and took it out for its first ever dyno tuning at SMS's mainline dyno. Car was tuned by Hussam Al Tayeb.

We have managed to achieve 511 AWHP using 109 OCT with boost set at 1.6 bar, all of this via Cobb Accesport and on a mainline dyno which uses a significantly higher load on the car. We anticipate to achieve higher numbers once the car is dialled in and some minor issues are resolved.

The 2009 STi employs an AMS 950 kit with a completely custom built 2.5L motor with stage 5 heads, cams and other goodies. It also has an AMS front mounted intercooler, Custom intercooler piping using accufab fasteners, custom fuel system using ID 1000 injectors feeding through one intank wallbro feeding a custom swirl tank and then to two bosche external fuel pumps, aeromotive fuel regulator and fuel rails and custom Setrab oil cooler sitting ontop of the motor feeding from the factory hood scoop. Power is delivered via a Carbonetics Carbon/Carbon clutch. It also has a mishimoto radiator and a Tial blow-off valve. In addition to Greddy headers, Greddy Exhaust with titanium tips.

We'll keep you posted soon with the new numbers once the tune is completed. Stay tuned.

Thank you for your comments.

The minor issues pertain to the MAF maxing out due to the inlet pipe sizing which will be corrected soon, in addition to the fact that we are running very low timing and we will be adding slightly more boost. Also we will be looking at adding a bit more fuel. otherwise thats it.

Will be posting the new dyno once the above is done.
