View Full Version : Wrangler Transmission Garage?

Guys my cousin is facing a problem with his auto 05 Wrangler, it starts on 2nd gear sometimes, also it runs for days without this problem and appears back every once in a while ..

Who to take it to? any one specific that works on "Jeep" other than the agent? any experience?

Kaween is the tranny guru he can fix anything..

maybe it's the valve bodies sticking

I would go to any agent and trade it for a new car just make sure
The trans is working properly .

I know Kaween would be one of the choices when it comes to overhauling the whole tranny or fixing it but who am looking for is someone that is specialized in Jeeps or Wranglers to be exact because I heard in some forums that it may be switches or electrical problem that causes this problem, so before going ahead and take the tranny apart I want it to be checked.

The trans is working properly .
Why Alaa? the Wrangler is an amazing car, this car has been in every kind of situation that you can think of and its a daily driver on top of that, it handles the abuse so good! Also I would say that the Wrangler is the number 1 relaiable vehicle that America has ever built!

The transmission a very complicated I strongly
Recommend to buy a new one rather than fix the existing if
A problem other than the normal slipping from the clutches
Or electrical like solenoids and if it has an internal leak which is hard to diagnose
It’s will cost a lot with no outcome.

sounds like an electrical problem than the physical tranny issue

NOS: willl take it for a check up in few days, if it needs replacing we will replace the whole tranny.

Valve body needs to be replaced, all other stuff is working good .. agent wants 580bd for the part while it costs 287$ at ebay!?

Hey bloodline.. How much does a manual wrangler 99 go For now says? Done up well with rims and extras.. And what all problems does this model have?

High 2k's I guess, unless you find someone who would pay more for the rims and extra's .. go ahead the car is amazing and away from problems as long as you maintain it well :up2:
