hey guys, today i watched it, everyone should watch this movie, it's very well made and very very funny. Moore does take lots of cheap shots at Bush by trying to show as many scenes as possible of Bush making a fool out of himself. But that's ok, I don't think I'll ever be convinced that the man has the brains to be the president of the most powerful nation on earth. Some of the scenes from Iraq are heartbreakin, as is the interview with American woman who's lost her son in the war. thumb up

and Brittney does suck, actually she is the one who looked foolish, espically bringing her after a scene where people were crying or dead or something and then BOOM you have britney speaking in her minii mouse voice and chewing gum and saying: we should juss trust our president!
She sounded like an airhead who had no idea what she was talkin about, a foolish teen, but err I dont think she is a teen anymore, anyhow!
I also was shocked about the part they said that the soliders listened to rock songs while shooting, but it made sense, thats how they get so into it..SICK

but guys did u see the part when the woman was crying and saying allah akbar !
i really felt so much anger in me ! and when i saw them in the christmas eve (americans) entering that woman's house and taking her college student son too!

I really felt angry when they were singing (the marines) that song about baghdad .. "Burn M***** F***** Burn... " i also got upset about it ..

but after that when i saw the two marines standing beside a palm tree and all of a sudden a bomb went off .. and one of them disappeared i really felt happy because we are kinda even after all what they did !

and when i heard them screaming "i'm buring i'm burning" .. i was like .. who will burn now? hehe

It is a real shame that things took that measure and are down to this .. Americans were better off in their own country ! they shouldn't have come to Iraq in the first place! Iraq is not vietnam! Iraq is a very old nation and has a very complex society that no one except Saddam and his alikes can control!

I don't think Americans will be able to hang in there ..

even yesterday, in ramadi resistant groups have attacked two american bases and destroyed 2 helicopters as well as injuring 1 pilot and 13 US soldiers .. besides that bombings of course!

If you see the schedule made in "al-wasat" news paper for yesterdays attacks ONLY ! you will really be surprised!

your comments people!

just a comment about the vietnam thing... the americans never HAD vietnam... they went in and fought a war year after year, sending more and more troops, who kept getting lost in the jungles, dying, getting all these diseases, and not getting any closer to winning. The american govt kept the truth hidden from the people and kept saying that they were winning, and kept sending more troops to cover for the dead ones... i cant remember how many years it took but sooner or later they declared they werent getting anywhere and infact suffered major losses, and withdrew their troops. thats the same thing thats happening in iraq. the press is showing them victorious and all but in reality, theyre suffering great casualties and i think they should quickly decide what they are going to do about it

the movie, sure it has some people swearing at arabs and all that, but i dont have anything against the director for that. i know hes doing it to show the truth, show that a lot of people are like that and that its the wrong way to deal with things

hehehe .. well guys we agree on most of the points ..

even now the national gaurd is insufficient .. state governers are concerned that they don't have enough national guards because they are taken to combat zones in Iraq! they are fearing that during natural disasters they won't have enough skilled troops to put things under control .. that shows how much suffering they are gettings

and the death toll increased in iraq to about 900+ as an approximate death toll ..

not to mention the "by minute" losses the americans are handling due to this .. and even the oil they are putting a hope on is not flowing in a constant manner .. pipe lines are being bombed continuely ..

I think that the Americans are in a great problem .. the cant leave iraq because if they do they will look like they are defeated and that they ruined the whole country and they left it to suffer .. but yet they can't stay either because if they stay they will get killed each day .. and that's what's going on ..

Not to mention, 3 countries have left the collation .. if not four .. phillipines, spain, hundurasan .. and one more country which is scandanavian i think ..

Now they are working on getting Arab and Muslim soldeirs to die for their cause .. which i think will be a joke if it just happens! we never saw anything good from our troops .. they can't even defend us against Israel . and when this happens .. somehow our troops are the right people to do it!

I think this is a little bit funny ..

If there is a chance to make America down to earth again .. now is the chance .. they are in trouble in Iraq .. and if they get defeated now .. i think they will ask themselves "what went wrong?" ..

keep in mind that the american officials are all sure that the next Binladen attack is coming and nothing will stop it .. i just assume that this hit will be spine breaking .. because it will be so strong that the USA won't know how to retaliate .. i think they will do so by hitting one of the Arab capitals ... let's just hope it is not to happen ..
atleast without weapons of mass distruction (nuclear, chemical, or lazer gun..) cuz then i think world war III will surely start .. and no one will stand still doing nothing ...

I think bush should go and he will , this director has another movie called Bowling for Columbine I have been told enah is good,
this situation in Iraq has set that country 2 generations back cos of what cos of oil and only that chemical weapons that they clamed that they have found how come there is no trace. All the major contracts went to dik channey or somthign like that for rebuilding Iraq so imagine the benefit they are getting form the mess they made.

okay lets say they said it was a mistake, they will for sure set a base there so they can have some power or army over the region in the gulf and plus to try their next luck with Iran or Saudi. Iran has been a big threat and will still be.

Remember some years ago one of the al saouds in Saudi said that we will not produce anymore oil for foreign countries, what did the Americans do they brain washed one of his close members to assassinate him. its all greed they want to use our only resource until it dries out and then they use their own.

Allah yaster 3ala el army eli we have in Bahrain or even Saudi. Lets all hope we never need to use them

well, i can talk hours and hours on this situation. but i spoke about it so many times i think im out of things to say.

there are 2 possible scenarios. the american govt is either very very clever to have planned all this out to the point in which they attack and take over all the countries, and have been planning it out for the past 30 or 40 years or so. There is a full map of the way things are supposed to go. ie israelis invade palestine, get the arabs arguing with each other, egypt lebanon, jordan etc etc and split them up. get iraq against iran, and be on iraq's side, destroy both countries. get iraq against kuwait, come in, rescue kuwait, go against iraq and by doing so get on the good side of the other gcc countries and establish long term fixed bases there as an excuse. attack afghanistan, attack iraq again, gain a firm base over the whole area and around iran, syria and saudi. put in mind that iran is now has american troops on both sides. syria is having problems ie they are "supposedly" harbouring terrorism, and saudi has attacks there every few days, and supposedly cant control the situation, so they are probably the next targets, they are looking for political and economical power over the area, keeping a jewish base which is israel, and for them that should encompass palestine, as well as possibly parts of lebanon jordan and syria (well i guess thats what they want), and keep the area safe as the other countries are all in fear or whatever.

if you want a bigger and more scary idea, think of it this way (this is just something i like to create off the top of my head). theyre doing this to secure the whole middle east area, and then they will slowly have a reach into europe, and be able to take over the southern european countries, slowly moving over and taking over all of europe, which have been their competitor especially with the euro taking over and blowing down the price of the american dollar!

ok thats a bit too far fetched... but MAYBE they want to secure the whole area and then have a strong launch pad to attack RUSSIA! who have been their long arch enemy since the cold war and in the previous world war!

ok again too far fetched...

never mind

well i agree with you manna3i .. the king you are talking about (the one who was assassinated) is King Faisal bin Abdul-Azeez allah yer7ma .. and the one who assassinated him was Khalid Bin Saud i think ...

The USA has the biggest Embassy in the whole WORLD in Iraq .. they took the republican palace (Saddam's Palace) and turned it into an embassy!!!!!!!!!!!!
They have the biggest number of translators, CIA agents, and spies inside Iraq and once things settle down in Iraq those people will be exported to the neighboring countries as IRAQIS and they will spy on us ..

Ofcourse, we don't have to mention that Israel now has the upper hand (more than before) and no one can stand in its way ..

Now they are trying to please France (USA) by doing problems in Sudan and France will interfere to take control over the Oil reserves in Sudan .. plus making Egypt (the strongest Arab Country) weak by have control over the Nile River! This is what the Israeli's have been waiting for since decades .. and they partially succeeded in that by inflitrating Ethopia ..

I have to say that the nation is facing so many threats .. and trust me if those goals are achieved by the invaders .. we will suffer .. it's not that we are away from them that we are safe! Americans can invade Bahrain in 2 hours! and i mean it 2 hours! We have the 5th fleet on our lands .. that's bigger than the Bahraini whole army (navy+air defence+infantary) !

Countries have to stick together ! in 30 days time embargos will be put on Sudan .. and military interference will take action against that country claiming that they are killing their own people! Sudan was supposed to be the biggest producer of wheat after the USA and being the main supplier for all Arab countries when it comes to FOOD .. it was called (The Arab food basket) .. but thanks to Israel & the USA .. they threatened to flud the market with wheat if anything of that sort would take action .. and they started funding rebels inside Sudan from the south and now from the west (Darfor) ..

Back to IRAQ --->

Alawi (the Prime Minister) .. was one of the guys who ordered the killing of Iraqis .. when he was outside Iraq .. fleeing from Saddam .. he used to fund groups that would bomb places like schools and public places and kill his own people .. that's the new prime minister .. and he was working with the CIA as the "Times" stated ..

As for Alyawar (the President) the son of the Al-Shammar .. he is a USA graduate and lived in the USA and worked as well as dealt with the CIA ! An agent put to rule Iraq!
There are about 150 consultants (Americans) running the Iraqi government!

And i'm sure Saddam has more to say about what happened to the Kurds and to the Shi'ite in Iraq .. or else why would the Americans edit the trial and mute the voice in the trial ! Did u think of that ?

I think (and that's my personal opinion) that Saddam is not what we think he is .. maybe he did mistakes and surely he did .. but not as big as the American media made it seem to be .. and not as much as we hate him .. I'm sure that if the Scotts or Irish in the UK tried to gain freedom and split from Great Britain they will be killed and Tony blair and the Queen will order that mass murder! We are talking about a country here .. a bunch of people dying because they are revolting against someone (whether they are good or bad) will get killed for the cause of keeping the country united!

However.. some people say that the Kurds were not killed by chemicals due to Saddam .. they were killed by Iran because they were (the kurds) killing the Shi'ites that Saddam has put in the north to balance the demographic component of the population.

Another point is .. we all think that Saddam is a mass murderer because he invaded Kuwait .. well .. let me tell u this ..

1- Kuwaitis were supporting Saddam when he defended all Arabs from Iran .. and they gave him money for that cause .. and Iraqis died for that task! Then they left him (Kuwaitis) and ran to Iranis and established diplomatic relationships.
2- Kuwaitis kept on attacking Saddam through their media and they said that they will turn all Iraqi women to Bitc*es in the streets for 10 BDs !
3- Kuwaitis kept on stealing oil through the Kuwaiti-Iraqi borders
4- Kuwaitis made Saddam fight their war and then they asked him for money and kept on debting him
5- Kuwaitis .. Kuwaitis .. Kuwaitis .. and even now they are the biggest supporters for the Americans! It even reached that they go and pray on American soldiers graves!!! Americans come to us and tell us: "If it wasn't for us Saddam would have been in your lands by now" and keep on humilating us (Abu-Ghraib) and we pray on their graves (Or atleast the Kuwaitis who are supposed to be our brothers in relegion and ethnicy)...
6- Kuwaitis are the ones who are benefiting the most after the invaders in this war .. they are the ones who are investing and supporting (selling) food, water, shelter, etc. to American Soldiers!

Shame!

Saddam was a powerful president and he doesn't deserve to be treated like that .. whether he was good or bad .. i don't have any support for that guy because i don't know him .. but i know that in history children will be taught that he was the president of Iraq .. NOT a theif or a begger or a street dog .. he was a president on the Iraqi people .. and he deserves to be treated with respect .. because he was in that position (elected or by dectatorship) .. he resembles and symbolizes us as ARABS and Iraqis as a part of Iraq .. thats why the Americans should treat him with respect

Why would mylosfitch be treated with respect although he killed the muslims and ordered his soldiers to open Muslim pregnant women's bellys .. and he would sit with a clean suit .. and respect is given to him as well as people knowing what's happening to him in his jail .. while Saddam who didn't flee his country (like some people) and who lost his two sons in this cause .. has to be treated like this ? Is it because he's not Kuwaiti? Or Christian? Or maybe because he's an Arab and a Muslim ?

Please reply to me after you have thought about what i read and u understood it .. i hate no one .. but we have to think about things with logic ...

Personally I felt soo sorry for saddam when they caught him, 1st when I saw the footage I didn’t believe it cos the place where they cought him they had palm trees and during that time we DO NOT GET DATES, I was confused .

walah saddam he is the only person who stood again enemies in their faces. i wish saddam would come back to power but that would never happen but did u notice even when he spoke in the court he spoke with pride and power like he still own it.

I didn’t know about the 5th fleet being that huge wow, bass tarah Americans have no chance winning a war like what happened in Vietnam they had one thing which is technology but still they lost when p2p action happened .

i think they could do it in 2h 3adiiiiiiiii cos our army is prepared for nothing to be honest. they need to get more training and being bit up to date,

Bahrain always has been a safe and peaceful place in the world that’s why they never actually thought of it. but Bahrain alheen is much better than 5 years ago its moving up in the world bass eshwai eshwai better than nothing.

Saudi is in a mess walah from alsa3oods defiantly Americans will join in for the engelab of alsaudes. remember the Saudi that tried to take over the government in the 80s where he took over alka3bah. That will happen again unless they change their methods with dealing with ppl of their own country.

about the whole situation between iran/iraq/kuwait, i think the whole story was put together by the us govt. they are playing them like a game of chess, controlling every move. I dont rememebr where i heard this but after being on iraq's side and starting the war with iran, they actually had quite a bit to do with starting the conflict between iraq and kuwait, and then jumped to kuwaits side basically to "serve & protect" the innocent... And with that they established a base there, and are sucking their oil dry as payback for their "services". And the poor kuwaitis, theyve been brainwashed with the fact that iraq DID attack and actually did kill quite a number of kuwaiti men, women and children, so they naturally have a rage and hate against the iraqis and saddam, and see americans as their saviour, and they love them for that, totally by-passing the idea that they were the ones who started the conflict in the first place. i dont blame them they have been through a lot, and for lots of kuwaitis i know when i try to say anything about americans they retaliate and defend them. thats a natural reaction i guess, if someone stabs you from behind you, and you dont see them stabbing you, then the same person comes out and helps you, all you see is how they helped you, and you are thankful for that. you dont realize that this person started the whole trauma in the first place.

thing is, the rest of the arab countries are chickenshit and are afraid to lift a finger against the mighty america, and i dont blame them for that because its not hard for the us to start any crap about them harbouring terrorism and use that as an excuse to bomb the hell out of them. saddam was strong though, he stood up in their face and although there are lots of actions he did which i do not really like him for, i think he really did stand up and face the others. especially back when he first took the rule, he was a STRONG arab leader and for the arab cause. sure, things got distorted along the way, but even in the last 3 or 4 years, he talked numerous times about blowing israel up if they tried any funny business. obvioulsy a major move causing the us to attack iraq. now with iraq out of the picture, israel is going ahead and doing things like building the wall their building currently etc because they have no one to fear! they basically have total control of the area. egypt and jordan are their "friends", saudi has no power to do anything, iraq is controlled by them, etc etc...

Yea true Enigma .. Israel takes the fighter with engines only and they do their OWN radar system and missiles as well as doing the navagation systems and computers by them selves ..

A point added to that .. there is an instituation in Jordan which is done by Israelis and Jordanians .. this is mostly controlled by Musad .. they teach and help Palestenian Israel 48 ARABs which are living in Israel .. and they give them degrees in IT and Computer science .. then those people are sent to other Arab countries .. they are trying to make them dominate the IT business in the whole region .. especially the Gulf States and Egypt .. this will enable them in the long run to spy on all our systems and have back doors which will enable them to take essential files and information..

The reason that we have a good set of pilots is the great sum of training they have .. one of my friends tells me that when a public plane enters our domestic air by mistake .. fighters are sent .. and when they do .. they usually go side by side with the public plane .. and escort it till they are out of our skies .. however OUR boys do it their own way .. they flip the plan which make it seem that he's hung from the ceiling LOL .. and they escort you that way till u are out of the Bahraini skies .. hehehehe ..

We need to contribute more to the IT system and develop our own programs and software .. even Microsoft is now putting spy ware on its products as i read in some articles! they can know if you are using crakced programs .. or even having essential files that include important words to them (example: Binladen, Jihad, Spy, etc.)

the reason we have one of the best airforce in the world is cause we own one of the most dangerous warbirds in the sky at the moment (F-16 Viper). Ironically Israel builds a copy of these warbirds but deadlier than the American F-16s.

The fighters we get in bahrian are 2nd hand that’s how it works we buy them from france or oman or America. the trade goes like this we buy planes from you and you have to train my fresh students for few years. But we do have some new ones though.

Imagin buying a fighter from me just as an example now I know this plane inside out and used it for X number of years. When u buy it don’t u think I will know where are u,what r u doing , when are u moving or going to strike. Technology will keep me one step ahead of u easily I can bug ur programming system or navigation..

Yeap sir they do :)

F-22 were given to the Saudis as a gift of gratitude for their efforts in Gulf War II .. it was actually given to them after that war by maybe 5 years i think ..

Jordan has a set of 6 F-22s as well ..

well its a great movie but remember it is political and it favors both sides .... it disses bush big time but it also gives justification to the Americans for going to war in Iraq and afganistan......

Bush may be the worlds biggest idiot ...but there is one thing i do respect bout him ... when he says he is going to do somethin he does it ...he doesnt beat around the bush and make up excuses....

Since the republicans came into power the economy couldnt have been in a worse state ... the tax cut he promised and delievered cost the American economy 900 billion dollars over the next 9 years ... in fact the tax cut only favoured the rich... to the avrage family the money saved from the tax cut saved them enough money to buy a tennis ball each year... while to the average millionaire it saved them a lexus imagine what the effect is ona billionaire who happen to be bushs friends... i mean it is no coincidence that Bush has the richest political cabinet in the world not one of them is worth under 10 million dollars.... imagine

Personally if i vote for the elections i would vote John Kerry cause his views on politcs are a bit more subtle then bushs ...he believes the reason why America is havin so much trouble from Bin Laden and so is because America interfers in everyones Business we all know that is to true when it comes to the Israeli -Palestinian problem and Sharons likwid party ... and his belief is if America was every to go to war they should get international backing i.e. the UN but lets see if he gets voted in ... his public opinion poles are quite superior to bushs at the moment ... but we all know politics isnt a straight line alot of behind the doors deals take place

This movie is only really shocking to people who haven't followed the news in years, i read the books , its pretty much just the books on film . Good movie , but nothing really new.
