Here's a spin on this topic. This is all based on first-hand experience from my days as a shop owner who bought parts from TS for the US market. Here goes...

There are a few guys in Japan who have taken their cars to Top Secret in Chiba to have them tuned in various configurations, as well as logo'd out with the official Top Secret badges. TS does catalog and database them as any good reputable tuner shop does for tracking/maintenance purposes. When these people sell their car, they can say "tuned by TS", but they can't say it's a TS car. They aren't genuine TS cars, but just a car that was touched by TS at some point in the car's life before it's sold. Does the fact that TS tuned it add value? Yes, if the car is pristine. It even adds more value if the wheels are "special edition VOLK Racing for Top Secret" or the Recaro seats are "special edition for Top Secret".


If it's a "real" TS car, it will be serialized, chassis stamped and the VIN info would reflect it. There are very few real TS cars. I think Saleen does this, as well, for the Saleen Mustang.

If the car is a LHD, it was modded in the emirates, and chances are it's just a car someone had tuned by TS.
