Well, everyone, i just wanted to be the first to say مبارك عليكم الشهر and inshala rabna y3ood 3ala el jamee3 bel 5air wel barakat...

i know a lot of u are happy to have this month back, its a time to rest, work slows down and we can take a break, 3al fu6oor kela akel, then watching musalsalat and TV shows.. then at night sahraat, ou 6al3aat ou dwara ou ma6a3em ou sheesha ou whatever...

bs i wanna point out one thing, that most ppl seem to have forgot...

this is a month we dont want to go to waste... i know some of you pray and fast and do your best, but there are others who dont... or take this month just as a time for fun... i want you all to take a minute and think what this month is all about... its not about going out and dwara, its not about sleeping all day and eating all night...

its about عبادة الله and inshala you put that in mind when u think of what your plans are for the next 30 days or so... spend more time praying, asking for forgiveness, reading quraan, giving the needy...

we fast so that we can feel what life is like for the poor who dont have enough to eat anytime they want, not like us... we become closer to God, we help others... thats what its all about.

i know most of u are thinking shfee hathi b3ad 4ced Induction like this, bs seriously guys, just think about it. Inshala allah yahdi el jamee3 ou we make the most of this month

sorry to burst your bubble but I get the feeling some people underestimate the true value of Ramadan. I thought it was a month where we feel for the poor and become healthier NOT about ghabgaat and corny TV series
