Whats the deal with Batelco and the new mobile numbers?
I heard all the mobiles are gonna start with 3 now so if you have a 96 GSM number it will start with 396 and will be 8 digits... WHAT THE HELL man kuwait has a lot more people and phones and theyre still using 7 digits what is WRONG with batelco... And I heard they will change the numbers sometime next week since vodaphone are gonna start selling their products in the next 2 weeks sometime also (dec 15th if im not mistaken)
any info? what is up batelcos ass

I heard that from a Ba7raini friend here in the UK. I was surprised that you guys have 6 digits for landlines and 7 for mobiles. Why don't they just make it all 7 digits like we do in Kuwait?
MTC-Vodafone will start on 31st December IIRC. I wonder who it'll compete with Batelco. :lildevil:

they have to add one more digit now because it will cost much less than if they added it say 5 years later.. and its the right time since vodafone are gonna start over here.. and it kinda sounds nice if ur phone starts with 93:naughty:

yeah thats because the vodaphone network is up and running but theyre using it for testing right now (BHR02). I have some friends over at vodaphone who have already been given their new vodaphone numbers for testing purposes, theyre 8 digits and start with 36.
I dont get it. You know, if batelco just put 1 infront of all landlines and make both land and mobile numbers 7 digits, that would make things so much easier... mobile phone numbers wouldnt have to change, and you would have SO MANY more numbers to use... does anyone know someone working in batelco on a really high level? plz fwd this idea cuz putting 3 infront of each phone number really sucks.
And 8 numbers?! what country in the world has 8 number phone numbers?! ana el 9ara7a im gonna be the first guy to get a vodaphone chip SCREW BATELCO:motz2:
