  2. Samsung TicToc MP3 mimic salt shaker interaction

    Leave it to us Asians to figure out a way to take a mundane device like an mp3 player with no screen and repackage it into something cute and interesting. Samsung will be releasing their TicToc, a device set to compete with iPod shuffle type of products. Apart from the TicToc looking like a sale shaker, it also changes songs with the a shake of the player, quite innovative, but maybe not the best thing to have if you listening to this and running around the place.

    The Apple iPad was announced today. In a nutshell, it’s a bigger iPhone that runs all the same apps on a 9.7 inch touch screen and has a 10 hour battery life and 30 day stand-by. It’s half an inch thick, weighs 1.5 pounds, and is powered by Apple’s own custom 1GHz ARM A4chip and can run up to 64 GB of storage.     Other than installing thermo-coupler sensors in the combustion chambers the only real way that you know what is happening inside your engine is to read the spark plugs. Both the fuel mixture and the ignition timing result in coloring of the spark plug’s porcelain and ground strap. The trick is to how to get the correct coloring without going into detonation and destroying the engine or by going too rich and raising the ring lands.
